Tourists visiting Moscow have repeatedly mentioned - the hotel "Leningradskaya" is unique in its way. First, it occupies one of the seven famous Moscow high-rise buildings symbolizing the metropolitan architecture of the middle of the twentieth century. Second, despite the extravagance of its interiors and up-to-date standards of the services rendered the hotel "Leningradskaya" belongs to the 'tree-stars' class, which favorably affects the prices for rooms.
In 1954 the architect L. Polyakov created one of the most luxurious hotels of Moscow. Any visitor entering the hotel cannot but set eyes on the abundance and beauty of the building's interior decoration: there are bronze lattices at the entrance, painted, stuccomolded and even carved-timber ceilings, bronze chandeliers and lions, monumental furniture made of valuable species of wood. Some details of the interior are so highly exclusive that they were included in the Guinness' Book of Records.
The hotel's building has a status of an architectural monument and is protected by the state.
However, perhaps the most unique of the numerous virtues of the "Leningradskaya" hotel is the marvelous view opening from the rooms' windows on the ancient Moscow - as the building's height is 136 meters.

At the city contest the hotel was declared the best among the "three-stars" city hotels based on the results of 1997 - and this is just a confirmation of its uniqueness. The traditions of the "Leningradskaya" have been verified by time - in 1999 the hotel celebrated its forty-fifth anniversary.
